My little corner of the web just got link’d!
Looking at my stats on Google Analytics, I saw something weird. I had visitors coming in from igda.org? Huh ? After a little investigation I saw that the link was coming from the Montreal Blogroll. Holy cow! My blog is over there? *in Wayne’s voice* I’m not worthy! I’m not worthy! I’m not worthy!
To you anonymous fan that submitted or put my blog in this list: Thanks!
The Game Developers Choice Awards 2007 nominees have been annonced. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is leading with four nomminations (Game Design, Visual Arts, Writing and Best Game), followed by Viva Piñata (Character Design, Game Design and Visual Arts), Okami (Game Design, Visual Arts and Best Game) and Gears of War (Technology, Visual Arts and Best Game) with three.
If Guitar Hero II win the Audio award, Harmonix Music Systems and RedOctane will be the first in the history of GDCA to win the same award 2 years in a row. Another fun fact about this year nominations is that the Xbox 360 and the Wii each have nominations, but where is the PS3 ?
The GDCA, presented by the IGDA, is a peer-based, open nomination awards program where honors are given by developers to developers. The awards will be handed out at the Game Developers Conference, March 7th
